One of the bottlings of the "Infanterrible" collection of bodega Gramona, Gramona La Maca is a varietal Spanish white wine made from Macabeo grapes sourced from vineyards situated in DO Penedès and farmed following organic and biodynamic principles.
The hand-picked grapes were selected on arriving at the cellar and pressed whole bunch. Then the grapes were cold-macerated with lees obtained decanting wine musts that would later become sparkling wines.
After that, this white wine from Penedès was fermented in used oak barrels over 10 years old, and gently filtered before being bottled.
Finally, Gramona La Maca 2022 was aged for 6 months before hitting the market.
Elegant and characterful, this organic white wine will make a great pairing with tapas, light dishes, creamy cheeses, shrimp and fish recipes.
