Spirits Gramona Marc de Cava
Availability: In stock
The Gramona winery was the first in Spain to produce Marc de Cava, a pomace spirit made from Cava. This winery began producing Marc de Cava Gramona in the 1970s through the distillation of the grape skins and the leesy wine that comes out when the Cavas are disgorged. Produced through one distillation of the wines and the grape skins, the resulting liquors are separately aged for several years in chestnut barrels, as well as French and American oak barrels. Furthermore, they are also aged for 2 years in stainless steel tanks, after which the final blend is made.
The resulting Gramona Marc de Cava is very elegant, as a result of its meticulous production. It presents a crisp and brilliant, yellowish-gold appearance along with a fine tear that falls very slowly down the glass.
There is a great aromatic complexity, with some grape aromas entwined with nuts and delicate flowers.
This Marc de Cava has a passage that is creamy and silky, fine, dry, smooth, persistent, and balanced. It leaves a pleasant citrus aftertaste on the palate.
This elegant Spirit should be enjoyed cold, around 12ºC. It is perfect to enjoy after dinner and with conversations with friends.
