Tequila Herradura Plata
Availability: In stock
The tequila Herradura Plata is produced solely from premium-quality blue weber Agave plants from the Jalisco highlands, which were harvested at just the right time by expert local jimadores, the farmers in charge of cultivating and harvesting the finicky agave plants.
The agave piñas were cooked in traditional brick ovens, from where they came softened and very sweet. This silver tequila was subsequently distilled twice in copper stills and aged for 45 days in American oak casks from Kentucky.
Transparent with a dim straw-coloured rim, the tequila Herradura Plata carries aromas of cooked agave, wild herbs, earth and citrus, with a mild spicy note. The palate is smooth, fresh and balance, with a sense of purity and notes of agave, cedar and candied lemon peel, ending with a gently sweet note.
