Red Wine Heus Negre 2023

Produced by La Vinyeta, the wine Heus Negre comes from the northern Catalan region of L'Empordà, not far from the French border.
Basically made from Samsó (aka Carignan) and Grenache coming from over 50-year-old vines, this Spanish red wine is complemented with tiny amounts of Merlot and Syrah. Certified organic, the vineyards are farmed following environmentally conscious procedures.
The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks for almost a month. After that, the wine Heus Negre 2023 was filtered, clarified and stabilized prior to bottling.

Palate | This young red wine from La Vinyeta is fruit-driven, fresh and nicely drinkable, with well integrated tannins and a good acidity. Medium-long finish. |
