Produced by the legendary Suntory distillery to commemorate its 100th anniversary, the whisky Hibiki 100 Aniversario is a one-of-a-kind product. The recipient of numerous awards and distinctions, this NAS Whisky is one of Japan’s most prestigious whiskies and one of the world’s most meticulously crafted distillates.

This No-age-statement whisky is a limited edition made from a blend of grain and malt whiskies selected from hundreds of samples. This process of combining and harmonizing different components, each of which provides a particular “eco” or “ressonance” to the final product, is designated by the Japanese word Hibiki.

The whisky Hibiki 100 Aniversario is amber-coloured with some golden reflections. The palate of this Hibiki whisky is marvelously evocative and amazingly refined, with aromas of sandalwood, incense, lychee and white roses over a gently smokey and spicy background with dash of red berries. The palate of this Suntory whisky is complex and intricate, carrying notes of candied orange fruit, white chocolate, rosemary honey and mizunara oak. This 100th anniversary Hibiky whisky ends with a very long, subtle note of citrus, black pepper, white grapes and caramel.

The exquisite packaging of the whisky Suntory 100th anniversary is also worth mentioning. Inspired by the uncompromising standards of Japanese craftmanship (expressed in the word “Monozukuri”), the label illustration honours the “Setsugekka” tradition, a topic of Japanese art which aims to capture the transient beauty of nature.
