Produced in DO Ribera del Duero, the wine Hito (which can be translated as "milestone") is produced by Bodegas Cepa 21.

This Spanish red wine is made from Tempranillo grapes sourced from a single vineyard situated in Castrillo de Duero, in the province of Valladolid.

The grapes were carefull harvested, and then this red wine from Ribera del Duero were fermented in stainless steel tanks for a period of 30 days.

After that, the red wine Hito 2023 was aged for 8 months in French oak barrels.

Pair with Ibérico ham, cold meats o roast recipes.

Appearance	The red wine Hito is medium purple with a bluish hue.
Nose	This is a fresh and expressive Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero. Aromas of ripe forest berries, toast and balsam, with some spicy touches.
Palate	This wine from Bodegas Cepa 21 is lively and uncomplicated, with flavours of wild berries and tree bark, some smooth tannins and very good freshness. Crisp, long finish.
Our personal opinion	Excellently priced and impeccably crafted, the red wine Hito 2023 is a smart buy.
