Red Wine Jean Leon 3055 Petit Verdot Merlot 2022
Availability: In stock
Made from a blend which is rather uncommon in Penedès, the wine Jean Leon 3055 Merlot Petit Verdot is produced by the Jean Leon winery.
Specifically, this Spanish red wine combines Merlot, coming from a 8-vineyard planted in 1997, with a higher proportion of Petit Verdot, coming from a 12-hectare vineyard planted in 2006.
The grapes were carefully harvested and separately vinified. First, they were fermented in stainless steel tanks. Then, this organic red wine was macerated for two weeks with the grape skins.
After that, the red wine Jean Leon 3055 Merlot Petit Verdot 2022 was aged for 4 months in French oak barrels.
Finally, this vegan red wine was aged for some months in the bottle before its market release.
