An homage to Xarel·lo, the grape variety that forms the backbone of almost each and every Cava, Juvé y Camps Essential Xarel·lo Reserva Brut is made by the Juvé & Camps winery.
This varietal Spanish sparkling wine was produced from grapes sourced from the Espiells and Can Rius vineyards, located in Central Penedès.
Located at an altitude between 185 and 245 meters above sea level, the vineyards have clay and limestone soils. They are protected from northern climatic influences by the neighbouring Montserrat mountain range.
Only the free-run juice was used to craft this organic Cava. Meticulously vinified, after completing secondary fermentation Juvé y Camps Essential Xarel·lo Brut 2018 was aged for a period of 24 months before hitting the market.
This Brut Reserva Cava is excellent by the glass and with light dishes.

Nose | This is a transparent expression of the Xarel·lo variety. Discreet notes of fennel, garrigue, rosemary and thyme, along with touches of white fruit, dry fruit and some yeasty notes. |
Palate | Again, Xarel·lo's understated elegance slowly conquers the palate. This Cava of Juvé y Camps is fresh, gentle and creamy, with bitter notes of aromatic herbs, touches of dry fruit and a tense acidity. Nice little bubbles, long finish and a pleasant overall sensation. |
