The refined Cava Kripta is the jewel of the Celler Kripta - Agustí Torelló Mata winery. This Spanish sparkling wine comes in a very attractive packaging: a glass amphora that highlights its unique qualities.
Produced with no addition of sugar, this Brut Nature Gran Reserva is made from a traditional Cava blend of 45% Macabeo, 35% Parellada and 20% Xarel·lo. Located in some of the best areas in Penedès, the organically certified grapevines are over 60 years old.
Separately fermented, the base wines were blended and bottled to complete secondary fermentation. After that, the Cava Kripta 2016 was aged for a minimum of 60 months in before its commercial release.

Nose | Complex and seductive, this blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada smells of white fruit compote, combined with remembrances of pastry, almonds and nuts, some mineral and balsamic remembrances, and a dash of smoke and flint. |
Palate | Elegant and creamy, this Cava of Agustí Torelló Mata has a citrusy acidity enlivened by some tiny, melting bubbles. Notes of vanilla, butter and ripe white fruit over a background of undergrowth, toast, balsam and flowers. Sophisticated and evocative, with a long, evocative finish. |
