Details

Produced by L'Olivera Cooperativa, the wine L’Olivera Tossudes is an unwooded Spanish red wine made from vineyards with DO Catalunya located in a region known as Vall del Riu Corb.

It is made from 5 varieties: the main component is Grenache, complemented with Monastrell, Samsó, Syrah and Trepat, all coming from organically farmed vineyards.

Hand-harvested, each variety was traditionally vinified on its own in stainless steel tanks, with periodic pump-overs and punch-downs. Once alcoholic fermentation was completed, the wine L’Olivera Tossudes 2022 was blended and bottled.

Finally, this young red wine was stored for 1 year in the cellar before its commercial release.

Pair this fresh vegan red wine with beef rice recipes, braised vegetables and pasta.

Appearance	The red wine L’Olivera Tossudes is medium ruby with a violet edge on the rim.
Nose	Aromas of red flowers and ripe black fuit, slowly evolving into hints of pine needles, balsam and vegetables. This blend of Grenache, Syrah, Monastrell, Samsó and Trepat is lively and expressive.
Palate	This red wine from L’Olivera Cooperativa is fresh, agile and straightforwards. Ripe fruit and Mediterranean garrigue with remembrances of undergrowth and a pinch of spices. Crisp acidity and medium-long finish.
Our personal opinion	The red wine L’Olivera Tossudes 2022 is inviting and food-friendly.
