Red Wine La Encina del Inglés 2021
Availability: In stock
An homage to the English travellers who visited Málaga and Ronda back in the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries and praised their colourful beauty, La Encina del Inglés ("The Englishman's Holm oak") is named after one traveller that left a lasting impression on the region.
The 2021 vintage of this Spanish red wine from Finca La Melonera is a blend of 50% Tintilla de Rota, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Grenache.
The grapes come from vineyards at altitudes between 600 and 900 metres in DO Sierras de Málaga. They are farmed following minimal intervention techniques.
Harvested by hand, each grape variety was meticulously vinified in stainless steel tanks. After that, La Encina del Inglés 2021 was aged for 5 months in French oak barrels.
We suggest that you pair this red wine from Málaga with a good Ibérico ham plate.
