The Adegas Ladairo winery is focused on producing white and red wines exclusively from Galician native grapes, in order to express the privileged terroir of DO Monterrei with the utmost transparency. The Spanish white wine presented here is a prime example of that approach.
Crafted by winemaker Jose Luis Vaz, Ladairo Blanco Barrica is made from Godello and Treixadura, both planted on mild hills in the Ladairo Valley.
Each variety was separately harvested at its optimal ripening state.
After a brief maceration period, Ladairo Blanco Barrica 2021 was fermented in French and American oak barrels. After that, the wine was aged on its lees for 8 months.
Finally, this low production white wine from Galicia was stabilized prior to its bottling.
