Whisky Laphroaig Quarter Cask

While preserving the traditional peaty character of Islay, the whisky Laphroaig Quarter Cask is one the island’s most approachable and lively whiskies.

This Single Malt Whisky was exquisitely crafted, like the rest of the Laphroaig whiskies. After being traditionally matured in ex-Bourbon barrels, this Islay Whisky was stored in smaller quarter casks, a fact that significantly enhanced the spicy, fruity and wooden flavours resulting from the first process.

Golden-coloured, the whisky Laphroaig Quarter Cask has an expressive and hedonistic nose, with aromas of ripe banana, cardamom, vanilla, smoke and coconut. The palate is gently sweet, with a smooth mouthfeel and a very long finish, with the peaty and smokey flavours underscored by hints of seaweed, exotic spices and ripe tropical fruit.
