Red Wine Laus Tinto Reserva 2018
Availability: In stock
An amazingly priced Spanish red wine from Bodega Laus, the wine Laus Tinto Reserva is made solely from Cabernet Sauvignon.
Situated in Barbastro, Huesca, DO Somontano, at roughly 400 metres of altitude, the vineyards have limestone and rocky soils with very low levels of organic matter. Climate is Mediterranean-Continental, with low rainfall and lots of sunlight.
Hand-harvested in mid September, the grapes were first cold macerated for 2 weeks before going through alcoholic fermentation. During the process, punch-downs and pump-overs were performed on a regular basis.
After completing malolactic fermentation, the red wine Laus Tinto Reserva 2018 was transferred into French oak barrels and aged for 13 months.
Finally, this Reserva red wine was bottled and aged for a further months before hitting the market.
It is advisable to decant this red wine from Somontano at least 30 minutes before drinking to fully experience it.
