Details
The family winery Vendrell-Rived from DO Montsant presents the first vintage of the wine Tres Germanes (meaning “three sisters”), a join effort between the owners of the winery and their three daughters.
This varietal Grenache is sourced from a 0.5-hectare certified organic vineyard planted in 2018 in the Les Pedrenyeres estate, composed of conglomerate soils.
After a manual harvest, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks for 25 days. Then this Spanish red wine was transferred into clay amphorae, where it was aged for 12 months.
Finally, the red wine Tres Germanes 2021 was bottled in February 2023 and kept for 8 months in the cellar before hitting the market.
The production of the first vintage of this Crianza red wine is ridiculously limited. Only 683 bottles!
