In 2009, the Granja Ntra. Sra de Remelluri winery began producing two different wines from the plots bordering the winery. Of the two, the red wine Remelluri Viñedos de San Vicente is fruit-forward and rich; its counterpart, Remelluri Labastida is usually fresher and less concentrated.
A blend of 88% Tempranillo, 10% Grenache and 2% of other red varieties, this Spanish red wine is crafted from old vines scattered across several tiny plots. They are owned and traditionally farmed by local wine growers from La Rioja, with whom the winery has been working in close collaboration for many years.
Maceration and both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations took place in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts.
After that, this red wine from La Rioja was aged for 12 months in 5,000 French oak vats and 225-litre French oak barrels. After that, the red wine Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de San Vicente 2020 was bottled and aged for a further months before hitting the market.

Palate | This wine from bodega Granja Ntra. Sra de Remelluri is structured and succulent, with lively tannins, a crisp acidity and a solid core of ripe fruit. Finish is medium-long, with some spicy, smokey and forest floor remembrances. |
