The wine Llicorella Vi de Vila Pedro Ximénez is an uncommon and fascinating white wine from DOQ Priorat made by Cellers Unió, one of Catalonia’s biggest and most respected wine coops.

Made solely from Pedro Ximénez - a variety indigenous to south Spain with a long, though little-known history in the Priorat region – the grapes are sourced from 40+ years vineyards located near the village of Poboleda, as certified by the Vi de Vila (Village Wine) seal.

After a meticulous harvest, this white wine from Priorat was fermented under controlled temperature in egg-shaped diposits that allow for a controlled microoxigenation.

Then the white wine Llicorella Vi de Vila Pedro Ximénez 2023 was aged on lees in the tanks for 3 months.
