This is the new vintage of the wine Llopart Carmí, a rather interesting organic rosé wine produced by Cavas Llopart.

A blend of Sumoll and Grenache, this Spanish rosé wine is produced from vines grown in the heart of Penedès.

After a manual harvest, the Grenache grapes were destemmed, gently pressed and cold macerated for 14 before fermentation. The Sumoll was destemmed, pressed and macerated for only 4 hours.

Both fermentations took place inside 150-litre clay amphorae, and followed by a 4 month ageing period. Finally, the wine Llopart Carmí 2023 was blended and bottled.

This blended vegan rosé wine from Penedès pairs excellently with finger food and rice dishes.

Appearance	The organic rosé wine Llopart Carmí is pale pink.
Nose	This blend of Sumoll and Grenache has a remarkable intensity. A panoply of fresh red fruit -red currants, sour cherries- nuanced by citrus, aniseed, balsam and some herbal remembrances. This organic rosé wine has an expressive nose.
Palate	Smooth, dry and crisp, freshness is the most appealing quality of this rosé wine from Cavas Llopart. Remembrances of wild berries and citrus, with a long finish with a note of underbrush and aniseed.
Our personal opinion	The rosé wine Llopart Carmí 2023 drinks well without food, but also pairs excellently with rice dishes and tapas.
