Made solely from Tinta del País (Tempranillo), the red wine López Cristobal La Colorada Crianza is produced by Bodegas López Cristóbal from grapes sourced from 30-year-old vines planted at 790 metres of altitude in Finca La Colorada, DO Ribera del Duero.
Carefully selected both on site and in the cellar, the grapes were meticulously vinified. Then this Spanish red wine was aged for 12 months in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels.
After that, the red wine López Cristóbal La Colorada Crianza 2021 was bottled and aged for a further 12 months before being released onto the market.

Here the thrust of Ribera del Duero's Tempranillo is adequately rounded by a brush-stroke of Merlot. The final picture is extremely enjoyable.
