Champagne Louis Roederer Collection 242
Availability: In stock
Produced by the prestigious Maison Louis Roederer, the well-known non-vintage Champagne Louis Roederer Brut Pemier has been revamped and renamed. Now it is called Louis Roederer Collection 242.
The composition of this Champagne is rather complex. It is made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier wines coming from the 2017 vintage (56% of the blend), a selection of wines from the Réserve Perpétuelle initiated in 2012 (34% of the blend), and Reserve wines from several vintages aged in oak barrels (10% of the whole). The result is a remarkably elegant Champagne Brut Reserve.
Once blended and bottled, this French sparkling wine completed secondary fermentation and was aged for 3 years minimum on lees. It was further aged for 6 months after the disgorgement, so that all its components could come together.
This is a great celebration Champagne.
