Product Description
Details
An extrodinary dessert wine from Jerez crafted from Moscatel grapes from the small vineyard Cruces which is located in Chipiona. The grapes are sun-dried into raisins. The fermentation process is also stopped before it has finished to preserve some of the natural sugars of the grapes. The wine is then aged in American oak barrels with a traditional process of sediment rotation known as “solera y criaderas.”
Lustau Emilín is a very elegant dessert wine that we love to enjoy with our desserts and especially with fruit based pastries, fresh fruits, citruses, and creamy breads.

Additional Information
Appearance | With a very fine and glyceric tear, Lustau Emilín presents us with a brilliant and deep mahogany appearance with medium layering and reflections we would expect from iodinated liquids. |
---|---|
Nose | An intense nose filled with raisins and fruits (dried fruits, dates, citrus fruits) along with toasted notes, wooden aromas, and a pleasant dried peach background. |
Palate | Powerful, warming, and mouth-filling. This dessert wine fills the entire palate with extraordinary raisin notes. It is sweat, creamy, very flavorful, and appetizing. This wine also demonstrates caramel on the palate with fresh citruses and spices. It is well-balanced, with good acidity. The finish is persistent and pleasant. |
Our personal opinion | This is an elegant, intense, and flavorful wine. A must try for all fortified wine lovers. |
