Whisky Macallan 12 Triple Cask

A fine piece of work, the whisky Macallan 12 Triple Cask is one of the most elegant products of the legendary Macallan distillery from Speyside, Scotland.

Made from three different spirits, after a meticulous distillation process carried out in the ‘curiously small’ Macallan copper stills – as the Macallan team likes to describe them – each spirit was individually matured for 12 years in European Sherry seasoned oak casks, American Sherry seasoned oak casks and American ex-Bourbon oak casks.

Finally, the three spiritis were blended to create this unique Single Malt Whisky.

Straw-coloured with some amber reflections, this 12 year Whisky has a richly layered nose, with aromas of candied lemon peel, Cantaloupe, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. The palate of the whisky Macallan 12 Triple Cask is smooth, balanced and vibrant, with tropical fruit, a dash of exotic spices and fine wood over a citrusy background.
