Whisky Macallan 15 Double Cask

One of the bottlings of the Double Cask product series, the whisky Macallan 15 Double Cask is crafted by the legendary Macallan distillery from Speyside, Scotland.

This Single Malt Whisky was fermented and distilled following the uncompromising quality standards which have made Macallan one of the world’s top spirit brands. After that, this Single Malt from Speyside matured for 15 years in American Sherry seasoned oak casks and European Sherry seasoned oak casks, both of which had been previously used to age a Dry Oloroso.

Medium gold with some amber reflections, the whisky Macallan 15 Double Cask carries some citrusy and spicy notes, with a hint of caramel and toffee and a note of baked apples and marzipan. This Single Malt matured in Sherry Casks has a round, mellow, gently warm palate, with suggestions of ginger bread, fudge and candied orange rind, ending with a spicy note.
