This interesting Spanish white wine is produced by the young and upcoming Galician winemaker Eduardo Peña.
Made from 50% Treixadura, 25% Loureira and 25% Albariño., Maria Andrea was sourced from 7 hectares of vineyards situated on the banks of the Miño river, in DO Ribeiro.
After a careful selection of the grapes, they were separately cold-macerated with carbonic snow. Then, this young white wine was fermented with its lees in stainless steel tanks.
Finally, Maria Andrea 2021 was aged on its lees for some weeks before bottling.
Pair this white wine from Ribeiro with shrimp, fish and chips and finger food.
