Red Wine Mas d'en Pol Barrica 2020

A blend of Grenache (60%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Syrah (20%), the wine Mas d'en Pol Barrica is produced from 10 to 30 year old vineyards located on the outskirts of Vilalba dels Arcs, in DO Terra Alta. The vines grow in clay-limestone soils with low levels of organic matter, in an area with an optimal sun exposure.
Traditionally vinified, this Spanish red wine was first macerated for 20 to 25 days, and then fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, the wine Mas d'en Pol Barrica 2020 of bodega Celler Xavier Clua was aged for 8 months in French oak barrels. Before hitting the market, it was aged for a further 12 months in the cellar.
