The wine Mas Estela Gorgs is born in the Cap de Creus, a rugged area in northeast Catalonia at a stone’s throw from the Mediterranean.
Produced by the Mas Estela winery, this Spanish red wine from DO Empordà is made from Grenache grapes sourced from vineyards with slate soils farmed following organic and biodynamic techniques.
The grapes were hand-picked and fully destemmed before being macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. After that, the red wine Mas Estela Gorgs 2023 was aged on lees in the tanks for 6 months.
