White Wine Menade Verdejo 2023

This is the new vintage of the wine Menade Verdejo of Bodega Menade. This varietal Spanish white wine was sourced from vineyards certified organic.

In order to preserve the specific qualities of the Verdejo grapes, grape harvesting was carried out following three different procedures. Depending on the characteristics of each plot and on the ripening state of the grapes, some of them were green harvested, others were manually harvested during daytime and, finally, the rest of the grapes were mechanically harvested at nighttime.

Gently crushed, the grapes were cold macerated with carbonic snow and separately fermented in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts under controlled temperature. After two weeks, the different musts were blended and Menade Verdejo 2023 was clarified and cold-stabilized prior to its bottling.

This fresh young white wine from Castilla y León is particularly appealing in summertime.
