Details
The mid-shelf Spanish red wine of the prestigious Grupo Juan Gil in DOQ Priorat, Minairó is produced under the label Bodegas Llicorella Vins, one the brands of the group.
Made basically from Grenache and Carignan, this red wine from Priorat is nuanced with a small percentage of Syrah and Merlot. Hand-harvested and carefully selected, the grapes were fermented for 10 days in stainless steel tanks at a temperature below 28oC.
After that, the red wine Minairó 2021 was aged for 6 months in French oak barrels. Then the wine was blended, bottled and aged for a further months before its commercial release.
Aerate some time before drinking.
