Gin Mombasa Strawberry Edition

Fresh and fruit-driven, the Mombasa Strawberry Edition Gin is produced by Mombasa Club Gin. Created in the 19th century in England, the company's main market was the British colonial population living in what was then called Zanzibar, which today consists of the African country Kenya. Nowadays, the Mombasa gins are still made using traditional formulas.

This London Dry Gin is crafted with a triple alcohol distillation system, known as Batch Distillation, which is similar to the one used to produce Mombasa Club Gin. In the case of Mombasa Strawberry Edition, though, after combining the licor with the botanicals (juniper, orange, lemon, coriander, licorice, cinnamon, cassia, nutmeg, angelica, nutmeg butter, cloves and cumin), the mix was infused with red fruit and strawberries.

Clean and bright, the aromas of red berries and strawberries intertwine with floral remembrances. The palate is fresh and elegant, with subtle hints of herbs and citrus, and notes of botanicals and aniseed.

Drink Mombasa Strawberry Edition neat or pour it into highball glass over ice and top with tonic.
