Gin Nordés Gin

The Nordés Gin is a premium gin produced by the distillery Atlantic Galician Spirits and defined by its producers as an Atlantic Galician gin.

To make Nordés Gin, each of the 14 wild Galician botanicals is macerated, using modern natural infusion practices, including lemon verbena, bay leaf, caralleira herb, eucalyptus, salicornia (a marine plant), some lemon peel, juniper, cardamom, quinine, ginger, hibiscus, liquorice and tea. Subsequently, the traditional distillation of each of the botanicals and the distillation of the Albariño grape are combined in a process called “Blending” in which all the elements are combined in perfect proportions, which will be distilled a final and fourth time in the copper still.This is how one of the very few gins distilled from Albariño grapes is made, with an alcohol content of 40% vol.

The Nordés gin from Galicia comes in a wide-bodied, low-height, white bottle, with a label showing the world map with Galicia highlighted.

The Nordés Gin in the white bottle has a delicate and floral aroma, with a smooth and elegant mouthfeel. Excellent, very fresh and different gin.
We couldn't resist and we prepared a fresh gin and tonic. Perfect, surprising. Of course, we decorated it with some grapes.
