Details
Produced by three wine lovers under the brand Hammeken Cellars, the red wine Oráculo is made from seriously old Tinta del País (aka Tempranillo) vineyards located in Ribera del Duero.
More specifically, this Spanish red wine was sourced from 80 to 120-year-old vines located near the village of Peñaranda de Duero, an area with an extreme Continental climate. They are grown at altitudes between 700 and 950 metres above sea level.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were destemmed, gently pressed and cold-macerated for 3 days. Then this old-vines Tinta del País was fermented in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts for 15 days.
After that, the wine Oráculo 2021 was transferred into new 500-litre French oak barrels, where this red wine from Ribera del Duero was aged for 24 months.
Decant this Crianza red wine at least 1 hour before drinking.
