The Cava Oriol Rossell Reserva de la Propietat is the flagship Spanish sparkling wine of bodega Oriol Rossell.
A varietal Xarel·lo, Penedès’ and DO Cava’s most important white variety, this Cava Gran Reserva Brut Nature is sourced from a single vineyard planted in 1974 in an area with limestone and sandy soils, farmed following the guidelines of organic agriculture.
The hand-harvested grapes were first vinified in stainless steel tanks. Then a 10% of this Cava gran reserva from Penedès was aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.
After that, the Cava Oriol Rossell Reserva de la Propiedad Brut Nature 2016 was bottled and aged for 60 months minimum in the celler. The disgorgement date is printed on the back label.
