Produced from Tempranillo grapes sourced from estate vineyards farmed following environmentally friendly techniques, the wine Pago de Ina Vendimia Seleccionada is a rather distinguished Spanish red wine from Ribera del Duero.

Picked by hand. the grapes were selected on arriving at the cellar, transferred into stainless steel tanks by gravity, and fermented under controlled temperature with mycro oxygenation.

After that, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was aged in new French oak barrels for 14 months.

Finally, the wine Pago de Ina Vendimia Seleccionada 2013 was aged for several years in the cellar before hitting the market.

Characterful and elegant, this Reserva red wine from bodega Pago de Ina. will pair excellently with game dishes.

Around 30,000 bottles produced.

Appearance

The red wine Pago de Ina Vendimia Seleccionada is bright ruby with a maroon rim. 

Nose

Nuanced and quite intense, this varietal Tempranillo is earthy and mineral, with notes of wild berries, toast and spices, and some lactic and herbal nuances.

Palate

Mellowed and rounded by the years, this red wine of bodega Pago de Ina is nearing its peak. Very pleasant, with smooth tannins, a crisp acidity and a terroir-driven character. Long finish with remembrances of undergrowth, toast and forest berries. 

Our personal opinion

Nearing its peak, the wine Pago de Ina Vendimia Seleccionada 2013 will pair fabulously with, for instance, a roast lamb leg with gravy.
