Nose | This blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon suggests some fresh notes of red berries, spices and balsam, punctuated by hints of freshly ground coffee. As the wine opens, there appear remembrances of fine leather, cedar, vanilla, dry earth and mineral. |
Palate | Velvety-bodied and nicely balanced, with delicious flavours of red fruit, dim suggestions of vanilla and clove, and a toasted core. This wine from Bodega Otazu has a very good acidity and some ripe, savoury tannins. Long and evocative finish. |
Our personal opinion | Deep and elegant, Señorío de Otazu 2021 is a noteworthy red wine from Navarra. |
