A varietal Tinto Fino, this Spanish red wine from DO Ribera del Duero is sourced from 20 to 30-year-old vines planted at 850 metres of altitude. The soils are composed of a top layer of rocks and a bottom layer of sand and clay
Meticulously harvested and traditionally vinified, after completing alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was transferred into fine-grained French oak barrels.
After that, the red wine Pagos de Anguix Prado Lobo Reserva 2018 was aged for a period of 25 months. Once bottled, it was aged for a further months before being released onto the market.

Nose | The oak ageing is of course noticeable, but in an elegant, restrained way. Aromas of vanilla, fine tobacco, spices and balsam, with succulent notes of blueberries, damson and cranberries, nuanced by some mineral hints and a note of liquorice. |
Palate | Smooth-bodied, balanced and elegant, with a linear mineral core, high quality black fruit, some powdery tannins and a phenomenal acidity. This wine from Pagos de Anguix has a very long, balsamic finish with hints of dry earth, pine needles and dried blueberries. |
Our personal opinion | The delightful Pagos de Anguix Prado Lobo Reserva 2018 is an impeccable Ribera. |
