Red Wine Palacio Quemado Los Acilates 2019
Availability: In stock
An interesting Spanish red wine from the southern Spanish region of Extremadura, Palacio Quemado Los Acilates is produced by the Palacio Quemado winery, a brand of Bodegas Alvear.
This single parcel red wine is made from Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, coming from vines planted on steep slopes with red clay soils and oriented to the north. Climate is continental with an Atlantic influence.
The grapes were harvested by hand and each variety was separately fermented in concrete diposits with native yeasts. After that, this red wine from Extremadura was transferred into 500-litre oak vats and aged for 12 months.
Finally, Palacio Quemado Los Acilates 2019 was bottled and aged for 12 months before hitting the market.
This is a versatile Crianza red wine.

Nose | This wine has a remarkable aromatic intensity. Notes of smoke, toast, red and black fruit and underbush. Enticing notions of balsam and subtle mineral undertones. This blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah is elegant and well-balanced. |
Palate | This wine of the Palacio Quemado winery has a gently warm core, a velvety body, ripe tannins, and a crisp, tense acidity that refreshes the palate. Loads of red fruit, underpinned by spices, toast and some earthy remembrances. Medium-long, fruity finish. |
Our personal opinion | An excellent value, Palacio Quemado Los Acilates 2019 delivers well above average. |
