Red Wine Pam de Nas 2019
Availability: In stock
A blend of Grenache and Carignan, the red wine Pam de Nas comes from old vines planted on steep slate slopes near the village of Gratallops, in the heart of beautiful Priorat. This wine is only produced in superior quality vintages.
Manually harvested and meticulously selected, the grapes were destemmed, macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 20 days. After that, this Spanish red wine underwent malolactic fermentation in 50% new and 50% used French oak barrels.
Then this Crianza red wine from bodega Trossos del Priorat was aged in the barrels for 12 months. Finally, the red wine Pam de Nas 2019 was bottled and kept in the cellar for some years before its commercial release.
Produced only in excellent vintages, this red wine from Priorat has a nice ageing potential.
Decant a minimum of 1 hour before drinking.
Very limited production.

Nose | Complex, enticing notes of underbrush, ripe wild berries, cocoa powder and blue flowers, enlivened by deep, spellbinding mineral echoes and suggestions of spices, menthol and smoke, Priorat's trademark. The nose of this blend of Grenache and Carignan is ever-changing and seductive. |
Palate | Earthy, deep and intriguingly fresh. Ripe fruit, liquorice, cocoa and Eastern spices, wrapped in delightful mineral remembrances. This wine of Bodega Trossos del Priorat has a remarkable acidity and long, superb finish -and despite all that, it is still in the making. |
