As usual, the charm of this varietal Xarel·lo lies in its somewhat restrained and subtle character, conveniently enlivened by the nicely integrated wood. Aromas of white and yellow fruit, alongside notes of flowers and aromatic herbs over a background of toast, spices and honey, all of them underscored by a mineral note. |
Palate |
Substantial and solid, with a tight structure and a significant complexity, the palate of this white wine of Celler Pardas is reminiscent of citrus and aromatic herbs, with a mineral note which becomes ever more prominent, framed by some delicate tropical notes. First-class acidity, a distinctive feature of the Xarel·lo variety, and long finish with an aftertaste of spices, mineral and garrigue. |
