This blended Spanish white wine is made from White Grenache and Pedro Ximénez, a variety originally from southern Spain that nonetheless has a long history in Priorat.
After a careful selection of the hand-picked grapes, this white wine from Priorat was meticulously vinified.
The alcoholic fermentation was carried out in French oak barrels. After that, the white wine Parèntesis Blanc 2022 was aged for 6 months on its lees before being bottled.
Since it is produced in a Burgundian style, we suggest drinking this white wine fermented and aged in oak at a temperature slightly higher than usual.

Nose | The nose of this blend of White Grenache and Pedro Ximénez shows the unique personality of the white wines from Priorat. Citrus, green tea, spices and curry, with deep mineral remembrances and a hint of herbs de Provence. |
Palate | This wine from Clos 93 is flavourful, round and gently dense, with excellent acidity and definition and a floral and spicy character. There is an incipient complexity here that will certainly increase over the next years. Very long finish with a mineral and bitter note. |
Our personal opinion | Deep and unconventionally elegant, the white wine Parèntesis Blanc 2022 is a little-known gem. |
