Details

This is the new vintage of the wine Pedrabona, produced by Josep Grau Viticultor in DOQ Priorat .

The grapes were sorted from vineyards with slate soils located in Gratallops and Pla de Falset. The low-yielding vines, 80 to 110 years old, are tended following the guidelines of organic farming.

Typically, the 2023 vintage of this Spanish red wine is a blend of Grenache and Carignan. The grapes were hand-harvested and selected on site and in the cellar. Alcoholic fermentation was carried out in 2,500-litre Stockinger Austrian oak vats.

After that, the wine Pedrabona 2023 was aged for 10 months in 870-litre oak vats and in 300-litre French oak barrels. The wine was not filtered or clarified before bottling.

Decant this Priorat red wine 1 hour before drinking.
