White Wine Pedralonga Albariño 2023
Availability: In stock
Coming from DO Rías Baixas, the wine Pedralonga Albariño benefits from a unique, granitic soil that gives this Spanish white wine a nerve and acidity matched by few wines.
A varietal Albariño produced by the Adega Pedralonga winery, the grapes come from estate-owned vineyards located in the Umia Valley, on the foothills of mount Xiabre, in the Galician region of Caldas. The vineyards are over 25 years old, and all of the farming operations performed in the vineyard are carried out in accordance with the peasant lunar calendar.
Manually harvested and meticulously vinified, the wine Pedralonga Albariño 2023 completed both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and was further aged on its lees until the next spring. Finally, this young white wine was naturally stabilized prior to its bottling.
Drink this white wine from Rías Baixas without food, or pair it with shrimp.

Nose | This varietal Albariño carries aromas of citrus combined with some mineral and salty notions, remembrances of wet earth, a dash of creamy tropical fruit, and an eerie touch of talc. |
Palate | Freshness is the word here. This white wine from Galicia carries some vibrant notes of citrus, complex notions of tropical fruit, a salty touch and a fleck of bitter herbs. This wine from Adega Pedralonga has a medium, slightly unctuous body, very good acidity and long, persistent finish. |
Our personal opinion | Though it drinks wonderfully without food, the wine Pedralonga Albariño 2023 is also a great companion for seafood. |
