Availability: In stock
Made by the Atlantic Galician Spirits distillery, the vermouth Peregrino Rojo comes from Galicia, as one can infer. The name, Peregrino (“Pilgrim”) is a reference to The Way of Saint James ("Camino de Santiago")
This red vermouth is produced from a base wine of Godello, which is definitely not a common choice for producing Spanish vermouth, and a selection of 31 botanicals.
Mahoganny coloured, the vermouth Peregrino Rojo has a well-balanced and original nose, carrying lively orchard fruit, a bitter note of wormwood and some spicy underpinnings. The palate of this Galician vermouth is pleasant and mild, with a bittersweet note, hints of flowers and dry fruit and a long spicy finish.
