The well-known Castillo de Perelada winery possesses an important art collection of paintings, objects and old books.
The white wine Perelada Collection Blanc pays homage to this remarkable heritage.
This Spanish white wine from L'Empordà is made from a blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
First the free-run juice was fermented at a low temperature. Afterwards, a 3% of Perelada Collection Blanc 2022 was aged in acacia barrels for 2 months.
The acacia ageing certainly gives this Empordà white wine an uncommon, appealing character.

This is a nice, original white wine. The ageing in acacia barrels makes for a different kind of aromas, which are fresher than the oaky ones. Good job by Perelada.
