Details
Made exclusively from Tinta del País, the wine Protos Crianza is an old favourite of our customers and one of Ribera del Duero's best known wines.
The 2020 vintage of this Crianza red wine shows a classic profile.
Produced from low-yielding vines, the grapes were selected and vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, this Spanish red wine from Bodegas Protos was aged for 12 months in 33% new French oak barrels, 34% 2nd year French and American oak barrels and 33% 3rd year French oak barrels.
After the completion of the process, the wine Protos Crianza 2020 was aged for a further year before its commercial release.
It is advisabel to aerate this red wine from Ribera del Duero 30 minutes before drinking.

The effect of oak is less conspicuous now. I prefer this to any of the former vintages I've had.
