Details
The entry-level Spanish red wine of the well-known Bodegas Protos, Protos Roble wine is a varietal Tinta del País.
It is produced from over 25-year-old grapevines located near the town of Peñafiel, in DO Ribera del Duero.
Manually harvested, first the grapes were macerated for 15 days and then they completed alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the red wine Protos Roble 2022 was aged for 6 months in French and American oak barrels.
Finally, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was aged for 6 months in the cellar before its release.
