Made from estate vineyards, the wine Puntiapart is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Samsó (Carignan).
Produced by La Vinyeta, this Spanish red wine comes from the northern Catalan region of L'Empordà.
Constantly swept by the Tramuntana, a relentless northern wind, the old vines were harvested by hand, and then the grapes were gently pressed and cold-macerated for some days.
After completing fermentation, the wine Puntiapart 2020 was aged for 12 months in French, American and Hungarian oak barrels.

Nose | Beginning with a intensely mineral note, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Samsó soon exhibits aromas of of ripe black fruit, underpinned by a deep earthy background and some aromas of clove and cinnamon, with hints of flowers and Mediterranean garrigue. |
Palate | Fresh and yummy, this Empordà red wine of La Vinyeta has a smooth texture and some mild tannins. Cocoa, violets, some earthy and mineral notions, and notes of balsam and spices. Good acidity and long, complex finish with a suggestion of menthol. |
