Details
The red wine Pura Vida Negre is produced by Cellers Underground. Located in Costers del Segre, this is the side project of Joan Soler and Richard Sanz, two winemakers working for bodegas such as Lafou, Abadal and Menade.
This expressive Spanish red wine is made from Grenache, Tempranillo and Syrah sourced from certified organic vineyards.
Separately vinified according to the variety, once in the cellar the grapes were refrigerated during a whole night and subsequently fermented in stainless steel tanks with short pump-overs. Once malolactic fermentation was completed, this Crianza red wine was blended and aged for 12 months in 2nd and 3rd year oak barrels.
After that, the wine Pura Vida Negre 2021 was added a 15% wine coming from the next vintage before it was finally bottled.
Aerate this red wine from Costers del Segre 20 minutes before drinking.
