The wine Rico Nuevo Garnacha is the entry-level red of bodega Rico Nuevo, an up-and-coming project located in Valle del Alto Aberche, in the south-west area of Ávila, DO Cebreros, at the heart of world-famous Sierra de Gredos.
A varietal Grenache, the grapes are sourced from several vineyards with granitic soils scattered across the valley. This varietal Spanish red wine fermented in stainless tanks with partial stems contact. This red wine from DO Cebreros was bottled unfined and unfiltered in July 2023.
The red wine Rico Nuevo Garnacha 2022 was not aged in wooden barrels; it is therefore a transparent expression of Garnacha de Gredos – besides being a spectacular value for money.
