Produced by Bodegas Roda, this Spanish red wine embodies the most elegant side of La Rioja.
Made from over 30-year-old, low-yielding vineyards, the 2019 vintage of the wine Roda I Reserva is, a usual, virtually a varietal Tempranillo (95%), with a dollop of Graciano (5%).
After an extremely meticulous and selective harvest, this red wine from La Rioja was fermented in wooden vats with indigenous yeasts.
Then the red wine Roda I Reserva 2019 was aged for 16 months in 50% new and 50% 2nd year French oak barrels. It was fined with egg whites before being bottled in July 2022.
Finally, this Reserva red wine was aged for a further 20 months in the bottle before its commercial release.

Class Roda
Yes, class, class and again... more class. Superbly balanced, with a filigree texture and an exceptional precision. At the same time, it is immensely enjoyable for the unexperienced drinker.
