Rum Ron Cacique 500

Ron Cacique 500 was first released in 1992, in order to commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Discovery of America.

This rum is produced in Venezuela, where pure springwaters surround the sugarcane plantations from which this rum is crafted.

Ron Cacique 500 is made from a blend of premium, high-end rums that were aged for a period of 8 years in American oak barrels. Initially, the rum was intended to be a limited-edition item, but its great acceptance among rum lovers persuaded the company to produce it on a regular basis. Currently, this is the distillery's flagship product.

This rum has an intense amber colour with some copper-coloured tinges. On the nose, we perceive notes of candied fruit, dry fruit, vanilla, old wood and sherry. The palate is bold and smooth, with a long, toasted finish.
